art weekend in aktovy zal Factories of Imagination: New Territories of Culture / part 1 ART WEEKEND of The Arts Printing House cultural centre (Lithuania) in Aktovy Zal In the frames of the project FACTORIES OF IMAGINATION: NEW TERRITORIES OF CULTURE The Arts Printing House presents the unique programme in Aktovy Zal, on the 20th-22nd of February. 20 February, Friday 20:00 "Here and Now" is is an improvisational dance and live music project, which nevertheless has an idiomatic and dramatic backbone. Loreta Juodkajte, appearing on the stage, becomes a part of music, and it seems, that musicians operate its obedient body and than she pulls them by the rhythm of her plastic movement. Choreography and performance by Lora Juodkaite, Music (live) - Andre Pabarciute, Vytis Nivinskas, Marijus Aleksa / 40 min "Fooled and Robbed" The performance is dedicated to those, who live in block of flats. Residents of typical blocks don't feel safe in their yard at night. The project is intended to diminish their disquiet and to improve the atmosphere. The main hero of the story - the machine operator under the semblance of a mouse - goes to the local supermarcet for alcohol.
